Yo Joes!

Thank you all for enlisting! With all 1,453 of you, we raised $176,736 and we can't wait for G.I. JOE Mission Critical to go into production!

 What comes next?

We are working with the team at Backerkit to get the pledge manager ready to go. We expect to be sending out pledge manager surveys around the end of the month and we will post an update when we do that. The pledge manager is where you will provide your shipping address and pay for shipping (as well as taxes where applicable). 

Now that the Kickstarter campaign has ended, our next step is to get manufacturing underway. Throughout the coming months between now and fulfillment, we will post an update to the campaign at least once per month. Our team will check in on the comment section a couple of times a week as well to answer questions that may come up. 

We are so excited to have you all as a part of our community. If you haven't done so already, we invite you to join us on Discord! We have a great group there and channels dedicated to G.I. JOE where you will be able to talk to other fans, as well our the Renegade team! We hope to see you there!

We're down to the final hours of the campaign. Before we show you today's intel, we just want to thank you again for enlisting! We'd love it if you'd help us finish strong and recruit your friends by sharing the campaign link on your social media! 

Today's Intel: Snake Eyes & Cobra Commander

Snake Eyes is a favorite among many G.I. JOE fans, and for good reason. His mysterious nature and unparalleled skills make him a go-to operative! His Solo Operator ability, Arashikage Mindset, and  Mikimoto Blade reflect his almost inhuman abilities, and provide a force-multiplier giving him the ability to handle a fight on his own when needed. On the other hand, Coordinated Strike shows that when called for, he works just as well with a team as he does as a lone wolf!

 An now for the man himself: Cobra Commander - a constant thorn in the side of the Joes. His evil knows no bounds, while his intelligence and charm have helped him build a formidable criminal organization! Cards like COOOOBBRRRRAAAAA! and Glorious Leader serve to strengthen his troops and make it extra difficult for the Joe's to prevail. Get Them! ensures foot soldiers are extra difficult to deal with, so that they may serve their glorious leader more effectively!

Yo Joes!

We hope you had a great weekend! Welcome to the final week of our Kickstarter campaign! Which character that we have shown so far are you the most excited to play? 

Today's Intel: Gung-Ho & Destro

Gung Ho, found in the Heavy Firepower expansion, is a man to be feared when in his element. His Fearless Charge allows him to queue up cards like Bayou Brawler for defense, and those cards are then boosted by his Jungle Specialist ability! It always pays to be prepared when dealing with the likes of Cobra!

 Destro takes command of Cobra forces in the Heavy Firepower expansion. Serving as the 2nd boss option available in this campaign, Destro is renowned for his prowess in developing tremendously dangerous weapons systems. His powerful passive cards like Illicit Weapons Dealer an Impenetrable Chrome make defeating him quite painful, and Surrender or Face Extinction grows more dangerous for every damage on his cards, making failure to completely defeat a card a potentially fatal miscalculation!

The beginning of a great team up!

 Yo Joes!

Another day, another set of intel files! But first, we also want to talk about our plans for Mission Critical in the future!

If you're new to the Guardian System, we invite you to take a look at Power Rangers: Heroes of the Grid. We launched the first Power Rangers: Heroes of the Grid Kickstarter in September of 2018. The core game had 5 Rangers (the Mighty Morphin Rangers), 4 Monsters, and one Master.  That campaign also included exclusives that added more monsters and more heroes, plus 2 expansions that included even more heroes and monsters. Since then, we have launched 3 more successful Kickstarter campaigns for big-box expansions, and run several pre-orders, There are now over 20 additional expansions, promos, and accessories (including dice and a card storage box), as well as dozens of free scenarios offering new challenges and ways of playing. 

The Power Rangers universe has so many different Ranger teams, as well as so many great baddies and allies! The same thing goes for G.I. JOE of course! There are so many cool Joes, as well as bad guys we all love to hate (or maybe that we hate to love, eh?). Our team is committed to offering the same kind of support to Mission Critical as we already have to Heroes of the Grid over the past 4 years, and continue to maintain today.

Today's Intel: Cover Girl & Copperhead

Cover Girl is the perfect character to play if you want to go heavy into use of vehicles! (Check out our update from last week for more about vehicles.) Tank Driver, Explosive Payload, and Engineering Victory all maximize the use of vehicles for maximum damage and minimum cost (always a plus right?!).

Copperhead is one venomous baddie. With cards like Phoenix Guard, which prevents foot soldiers from being defeated, and Water Moccasin Onslaught, which both deals damage AND drains energy, you'll want to take him out as quickly as you can!
